Ever since I can remember I have always gravitated towards philosophy and the stars.
In the greek language the word “philo” means love and “sophy or sophia” means wisdom.
To the ancient Greeks, the word “astra” meant stars and “onom” meant to study.
It is my love for Astronomy and Philosophy that has made me a “what if” kind of thinker.
I sometimes wonder if my passion for philosophy is because my lineage traces back to The Island Of Samos, known for its Philosophers.
Pythagoras, Epicurus and Aristarchus came from Samos. Pythagoras is considered one of the early great Philosophers who influenced Plato and Aristotle.
Epicurus was another philosopher who influenced Kant and Nietzsche among other wise men.
Aristarchus realized the Earth traveled around the sun 2000 years before Copernicus. And that was without a telescope!
The Land of DianToz is all about reaching Greatness…a Celestial Civilization if you dare to believe.
Humanity deserves a chance to be great.
I believe our Destiny lies among the Stars. A Space faring race will become a god-like race. I believe the Original Creator designed it that way.
The great philosopher Plato envisioned a society based on reason and justice when he wrote Plato’s Republic.
So, I offer a modern day version of “Plato’s New Republic”, if I may be so bold.
Let’s take the first steps to becoming a Celestial Civilization.
